Castings commonly used in injection molds include steel castings, cast iron castings, aluminum castings, etc. The quality requirements for chemical pump castings mainly include the following aspects.
(1) The shape and size of pump castings should meet the requirements of the casting drawing, and their chemical composition and mechanical properties should meet the specified requirements.
(2) The surface of the casting should be sandblasted and free of scars, burrs, and burrs, with a residual height not exceeding 3mm.
(3) There should be no defects such as pores, sand holes, cracks, etc. inside the castings, especially near the working surface. There should be no serious looseness or significant shrinkage on non working surfaces.
(4) Castings should be subjected to timely heat treatment, steel castings should be completely annealed, and cast iron castings should be aged to eliminate internal stress and improve processing performance.
